This upgrade will be to an advanced technology platform and will enable us to improve customer experience and improve on our existing digital capabilities. This upgrade will also put us on a pathway to continuous innovation.
In order to realise the full benefits of this great improvement on our core banking platform, all our customers need to take note of the following important information
All Standard Bank clients will receive new account numbers that conform to international standards for ease of transactability. You will have the option of using both your existing and the new account number for a period of 12 months.
There is no change on current ATM/Debit Card. Customers can continue to use their existing card and PIN as usual, and the current stock of cheque books without interruption for a period of 12 months.
In order for us to facilitate the upgrade, the Bank will also close all its branches on Friday 16th June at 13:00hrs and ATM at 16:00 until Monday 19th June at 08:00. During this period, our ATM debit cards, ATM Machines, Internet Banking, Business Online and Electronic channels will NOT be available.
We have nonetheless made arrangements to extend our branch up to 4 pm hrs from Monday 12th to Friday 15th June, 2017, so please make sure you have enough money to cover you through the weekend.
We regret the inconvenience that this might cause but, come 19th June, you will realize that was worth your while as you will start enjoying a world class service and efficiency, especially on our digital channels. Thank you.
